Managing Locations
- In Election Worker Portal, go to Setup > Locations.
- Click Training Location above the grid. The Add Location dialog opens.
- Complete the required fields:
Location Name
Location ID
Active or Inactive
- Street Address
- City
- State
- Zip Code
- Click Save.
Note: Only training locations can be edited on this page; all other location types are managed in Voter Focus.
- In Election Worker Portal, go to Setup > Locations.
- Find the location you need to update. In the Actions column, click Edit. The Edit Location dialog opens.Note: Training Location status cannot be changed if the location has been assigned to a class scheduled to occur in the future. Once the class is over, the location status can be updated.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click Save.
- In Voter Focus, go to ELECTIONS > Place Maintenance.
- On the Find Place dialog, click Cancel.
- Click the New icon.
- In the Place Type field, select the type of work.
- Enter a number in the Place Number field.
- Click OK.
- Complete at least the following fields:
- Place - Make this unique for your training purposes.
- Place USPS address
